ব্যাকুল দ্রুত বেগে

EAGERLY WITH HIGH SPEED]

করিছে পান, [DRINKING THY LIGHTS]   করিছে স্নান, [BATHING WITH THY LIGHT]

অক্ষয় কিরণে ॥

চিরনূতনধারা, [AS EVER-FRESH STREAMS]

করুণা তব  [THY'S THY KINDNESS]     অবিশ্রাম [ RESTLESS AND ENDLESS]

জনমে মরণে ॥ [ REFLECTED IN BOTH LIFE AND DEATH]

স্নেহ প্রেম  [ THE LOVE AND AFFECTIONS]     দয়া ভক্তি  [THE KINDLESS AND DEVOTIONS]

কোমল করে প্রাণ,

SOFTENS AND BEAUTIFIES OUR SOUL.

কত সান্ত্বন [ SOLACE ALWAYS]                  করো বর্ষণ [THOU POURING DOWN]

সন্তাপহরণে ॥

[TO WASH OUR PAINS AND SORROWS]

. জগতে তব [ THIS CREATION]     কী মহোৎসব, [IS THY GREAT VESTIVITY]

বন্দন করে বিশ্ব,

[ PRAISED BY ALL THOSE ARE CREATED]

নির্ভয়শরণে ॥

In Thy blissful land    of auspicious light

I saw Thou flashing ,

In the form of Truth And Beauty.

মহিমা তব                           উদ্ভাসিত

মহাগগনমাঝে,

বিশ্বজগত                         মণিভূষণ

বেষ্টিত চরণে ॥

Thy divine grace     ever manifested

In the endless space,

The Galaxies are     thy glittering gems

Around your dancing feet.

গ্রহতারক       চন্দ্রতপন  // ব্যাকুল দ্রুত বেগে

করিছে পান,   করিছে স্নান, // অক্ষয় কিরণে ॥

The stars and planets       the Suns and moons

Eagerly in a race,

Drinking up         and taking baths

In thy unending rays.

ধরণী'পর   ঝরে নির্ঝর,  /  মোহন মধু শোভা

ফুলপল্লব-গীতগন্ধ-// সুন্দর-বরনে ॥

On this Earth       Dances down the streams

Alluring sweet faces of beauties,

Flowers and leaves      tunes and fragrance

Enchanting are the colors;

বহে জীবন  রজনীদিন // চিরনূতনধারা,

করুণা তব       অবিশ্রাম  // জনমে মরণে ॥

Flowing the lives,       days and nights

Eternally afresh stream,

It's thy kindness         always ceaseless

In the births and deaths always.

স্নেহ প্রেম       দয়া ভক্তি // কোমল করে প্রাণ,

কত সান্ত্বন    করো বর্ষণ  /// সন্তাপহরণে ॥

Affection and love      kindness and devotion

Softens our souls,

Endless solaces    pouring downs on us

To reduce our burns.

. জগতে তব  - কী মহোৎসব, // বন্দন করে বিশ্ব,

শ্রীসম্পদ   ভূমাস্পদ // নির্ভয়শরণে ॥

The Universe is thy      festive ground

Creation praises you.

Wealth of goodness       Knowledge endless

And fearlessness lies in thy feet.

48A. Thou hast made me endless

            [আমারে তুমি যে অশেষ করেছো -] 

আমারে তুমি যে অশেষ করেছো ,

Thou hast made me endless,

এমনি  লীলা তব -

such is thy pleasure.

ফুরায়ে ফেলে আবার ভরেছ

This frail vessel thou emptiest again and again,

জীবন নব  নব। ১

and fillest it ever with fresh life.

কত-যে গিরি কত-যে নদী-তীরে

Thou hast carried over hills and dales,

বেড়ালে বাহিয়া ছোট এ বাঁশিটিরে ,

This little flute of a reed [that is me ]

কত-যে তান  বাজালে  ফিরে  ফিরে

and hast breathed through it melodies eternally new.

কাহারে তাহা কব। ২

Whom can I convey that .

তোমারি  ওই  অমৃতপরশে

At the immortal touch of thy hands

আমার হিয়াখানি 

My this little heart-

হারালে সীমা বিপুল হরষে ,

Loses its limits in joy and -

উঠলে উঠে বাণী। 

Gives birth to utterance ineffable.

আমার   শুধু  একটি  মুঠি ভরি 

Only on these very small hands of mine.

দিতেছ   দান  দিবস-বিভাবরী -

Thy infinite gifts come to me -

হল  না সারা , কত না  যুগ  ধরি

Ages pass and still there is room to fill.

কেবলই  আমি লব। ৩==

And I shall be there only to take .

55. Mahabiswe Mahakaashe Mahakaal majhe

    

মহাবিশ্বে মহাকাশে মহাকাল-মাঝে

মহাবিশ্বে মহাকাশে মহাকাল-মাঝে

In this great Universe, the great sky, the great span of time,

আমি মানব একাকী ভ্রমি বিস্ময়ে, ভ্রমি বিস্ময়ে ॥১

I am so alone, singularly travelling, wonder-dumbed.

তুমি আছ, বিশ্বনাথ, অসীম রহস্যমাঝে

You being the Lord of the Universe,

              Staying within your endless secrets of creation

নীরবে একাকী আপন মহিমানিলয়ে ॥ ২

Soundlessly alone, staying within thy great devine grace.

অনন্ত এ দেশকালে, অগণ্য এ দীপ্ত লোকে,

In this endless time and space, in countless spheres of creations,

তুমি আছ মোরে চাহি-- আমি চাহি তোমা-পানে।

You are keeping your eyes on me, I stay gazing towards you,

স্তব্ধ সর্ব কোলাহল, শান্তিমগ্ন চরাচর—

Silent are all the uproars, fathomless peace all over,

এক তুমি, তোমা-মাঝে আমি একা নির্ভয়ে ॥৩

You are only ONE, and within Thee,

me alone, living fearlessly.3

26B. Man only traversed into Universe to find you [Mahabiswe Mahakaashe Mahakaal majhe]

In this great Universe, the great sky, the great span of time,

I am so alone, singularly travelling, wonder-dumbed.

You being the Lord of the Universe,

56.   Ocean of tranquil peace is just in front. 

         [সমুখে সহ শান্তি  পারাবার , ভাসাও  তরনি এ  কর্ণধার।

সমুখে  শান্তিপারাবার -

An ocean of  tranquil peace ,

In front, [be seen please ] .

ভাসাও  তরণী হে  কর্ণধার। 

Sail my boat, thou my Boat's helm of affair, .

তুমি হবে চিরসাথি ,

Thou shall be my eternal sailor ,

লাও লাও হে ক্রোড় পাতি -

Take me , take me , on thy lap's [ shelter]. 

অসীমের পথে জ্বলিবে জ্যোতি   

On this road of infinitive journey [ ever]   

   দ্রুব  তারকার। 

The eternal lighthouse shall the Northern Star .

মুক্তিদাতা, তোমাme র ক্ষমা তোমার দয়া  this 

Oh liberator, thy forgiveness and kindness 

হবে চিরপাথেয় চিরযাত্রার। 

Shall provide me eternal sustainance in this journey endless .

হয় যেন  মর্তের  বন্ধন  ক্ষয় ,

Let  this severe all my ties - whater be this earthly,

বিরাট  বিশ্ব  বহু মেলি লয় -

Let this big Universe-embrace and put me on some valley 

পায়  অন্তরে নির্ভয় পরিচয় 

May I thus starts up with a fearless introduction ,

মহা অজানার।

Of thy great unknown  Creation .
